San-Ran Motel

The location was fantastic for our needs. The rooms were simple and adequate for our needs. They are admittedly dated but very clean. The owner was the staff. He has and shares a wealth of area knowledge. His recommendations for restaurants was spot on! Randal was easy to talk with and we enjoyed visiting with him. The motel reminded me of days gone when my family traveled and stayed in these motels. Thanks for the nalstagistic trip to the past!

I like this place. Reminds me of days past when many motels in small towns were mom & pop places like this. I’ve stayed here several times on fishing trips to the area. Yep, it’s old but rooms are in reasonably good condition and very clean. TV channel choices are outstanding. Folks are very nice and accommodating. It’s quiet, adequate towels, coffee maker, mini fridge, affordable, what more could you ask for? I’d take this any day over the overused “modern” hotels that cost twice as much.

Very relaxing atmosphere close to sooo many attractions. Rooms are “cozy” if you want fancy this is not for you. Very hospitable owner, kind and laid back. Thank you Randell.

The rooms were exceptionally clean. My cousins and I rented four of the rooms and we were all satisfied with the cleanliness. The bed sheets were comfortable and smelled great. Appreciated the WiFi.

I love this place! I will definitely stay again. I road my Harley from Nashville to enjoy Deals Gap and Tail of the Dragon; I loved the old school vibe of the Motel. The proprietors are super nice; the house keeping is top notch (please leave a tip for the house keeper as she is wonderful). The bed was fresh and firm for aging bones like mine. The proximity is perfect for walking to restaurants and there's an Ingle's super market right across the street. This is a biker-friendly motel and provide towels to wipe the bike down in the morning. A great place for a long weekend riding fun at VERY reasonable rates.

Great base for riding the Tail of the Dragon, Cherhola Skyway & many other scenic motorcycle roads. We stayed 2 nights. Mom & Pop owners (Randy & Ann) were very hospitable & motorcycle friendly. Gas across the street, grocery store w deli within 1 block. Rooms are dated but very clean and had fridge & microwave. Price budget friendly and room was perfect for our needs.

Stayed again this year for a "work friends bike ride". Excellent location for riding the Skyway and the Dragon and most all of the popular bike routes. Very clean rooms and excellent service, even in the midst of a family crisis we were still accomodated flawlessly. I stayed in the carport apartment and it was a great weekend, king bed was comparable to mine at home, we setup Cornhole boards and had a fire in the pit and cooked ribeyes on the charcoal grill. Plenty of parking for our bikes and trucks and trailers.

Stayed two nights. Just like others have said, Randy is great, rooms are dated but clean, very convenient to all the motorcycle rides I came for. They cleaned the room after the first night; I didn’t think anyone did that anymore and felt bad that I’d left the room a mess.
